PARENTING APPS FOR CUSTODY CASES

Image result for Memes About Co-Parenting

In the age of technology there are several ways to communicate. There are some that prefer email, others prefer text and still others feel more comfortable with face-to-face communication.

A divorce between parents can be very difficult however, courts focus on what’s in the child’s best interest. Most judges award joint legal custody which requires the parents to communicate about major issues relating to a child’s health, education and welfare. In order to effectively communicate, divorced or divorcing parents have to find the best way to communicate with each other regarding their child or children. There are several parenting Apps that are geared toward ensuring that the parents remain on the same page regarding issues relating to their child or children. One of the Apps that is frequently recommended by judges is #Our Family Wizard”. Our Family Wizard is not a free App however, most parents split the costs for the yearly subscription. The Our Family Wizzard App allows each parent to communicate regarding their child or children by uploading the email into the parenting App. The App also permits the parents to include third parties such as best interest attorneys, parenting coordinators or other interested 3rd parties. Another parenting App is “App Close”. Although App close is a fairly newer App then the “Our Family Wizard”, it has some of the same features. “2 Houses” is another App that enables parents to effectively communicate relating to their child or children. Although the above-mentioned Apps are not exhaustive of co-parenting Apps, it gives you an idea of some Co-parenting communication options during a separation or after a divorce. The choices that parents make relating to communications about their child or children should always focus on the child’s best interest.
