A free Joint Expungement Clinic is Scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10::00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The event will be held by J Franklyn Bourne Bar Association and Montgomery County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta.
Expungement Clinics Assist Individuals, who are eligible for Expungements with filling out necessary forms to be filed with the court. Individuals who are not eligible for Expungements are advised as to whether they are eligible in the future. Volunteer Attorneys participating at an Expungement Clinic do not create an attorney Client Relationship with a participant that goes beyond the clinic unless there is a retainer signed afterwards. Volunteer attorneys also give referrals to pro bono legal services or future expungement clinics.

Participants will have 1:1 with Attorneys
This free event will be hosted by the Montgomery County MD Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, and The J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association.
Volunteer Attorneys will be assisting individuals who are eligible for expungement for misdemeanors and past marijuana possession offenses. They will also be advising individuals who may be eligible for expungement under the Criminal Justice Reinvestment Act. Learn more here: www.ma4jr.org/justice-reinvestment/
In order to protect the participants’ confidentiality, the attorneys will be talking to individuals one on one.
